Hi, I’m Macy Veil, a Brazil-based screenwriter.
My work moves through philosophical science fiction, dystopian narratives, psychological drama, and surreal horror — stories shaped by sound design, natural environments, distant human presence, and the weight of what goes unsaid.
Inspired by the ambition and obsession of Kubrick, the emotional restraint of Villeneuve, the dark absurdism of Lanthimos, and the stark emotional honesty of Martin Rosen, I write toward a cinema where atmosphere does the work. My process begins before the page — inhabiting each scene’s texture and internal logic before committing it to words.

Loop - You’ll Meet Yourself at the End
Logline: In a fractured world shaped by cycles of collapse, divinity, and engineered life, intertwined characters confront time loops, memory fractures, and artificial gods, slowly realizing that history itself may be a recursive system unable to escape its own design.

Logline: In a peripheral district of a vast city where herbivores and carnivores coexist, a lonely black cat mechanic becomes haunted by the idea of being loved — unaware that a silent presence has been following him all along.

Logline: While silently observing thousands of lives through a global surveillance network, a lonely technician becomes emotionally dependent on one ordinary family whose home security system he has secretly accessed for years, until a routine system upgrade severs the only human connection he has left.
